Tripp Lite has introduced a new IP Remote Access Unit with Power Control.
The B051-000-AC allows users to control connected KVM switches and servers from anywhere in the world. A new Power Control feature lets users remotely restart servers and other equipment. To protect remote access, the device uses security features like advanced encryption technology, multi-level authentication, automatic lockout and password protection.
“With our new IP Remote Access Unit, network administrators can work from any part of the office instead of being bound to the server room,” said David Posner, Tripp Lite product manager. “By remotely accessing KVMs and their attached servers, network administrators can perform tasks such as installing and running GUI applications, BIOS level troubleshooting, routine monitoring and more.”
