Today, R. Brent Howard, president and founder of TruAudio announced officially that he will be stepping down as president of Soundvision Technologies, which houses the brands TruAudio, Forge Racks, and FatCat, for personal reasons.

“This was a hard decision to make but the timing is right especially since things are running smoothly here”. Day-to-day responsibilities at the Soundvision companies will shift to CEO Ron Davies,” Howard said in a prepared statement.

Howard added that over the last six months he had been more involved in the design, manufacturing, and logistics of products rather than day-to-day operations, so the actual internal change would be minimal.

“There are some new projects that I have been working on, and others that I am exploring. This move also allows me time to look at new opportunities that may come across my plate,” Howard said.

Despite the current state of the economy, Soundvision’s brands are in great shape, according to Howard, and”the company will continue to manufacture great products for the CI industry.”

Howard clarified that the projects that he is working on are still within the industry but may not be directly connected to TruAudio, Forge, or FatCat. “I will be maintaining a relationship with the Soundvision companies, just in a different capacity. I have been involved in custom installation for over 20 years now and can’t even imagine working anywhere else. I’m excited for the future.”
