Ultimate Integration, the regional distributor of specialty electronics for the metro New York/Tri-state region hosted its Fourth Annual BBQ Bash and Tradeshow for more than 200 dealers and 25 vendors at its headquarters in Clifton, NJ, on Thursday, August 4, 2016.

“Every year we strive to improve on our BBQ Bash and Tradeshow, and this year we aimed to have as many of our dealers and vendors present to focus on product training and allow dealers to get hands-on experience with new products,” said Matthew Weil, CEO of Ultimate Integration, a PowerHouse Alliance member. “The event is also a great opportunity for dealers to see our facility and the scope of products and services we offer.”

Representatives from a wide range of audio/video manufacturers including Core Brands, LG, Peerless AV, and Yamaha, were present with demos and prizes for attendees. Ultimate Integration also hosted Dennis Holzer, executive director of the PowerHouse Alliance, Dave Pedigo, director of emerging technologies of CEDIA, and Vin Bruno, CEO of CEDIA.

“It was an honor to be invited and my privilege to attend the Ultimate Integration BBQ and Tradeshow,” Bruno said. “It was fun seeing friends from all walks of the industry and getting a tour of the impressive facilities from Dennis Holzer. I was amazed at the breadth of products offered by Ultimate Integration, and particularly impressed by the size of the warehouse and amount of inventory immediately available to dealers.”

Ultimate Integration and attending vendors conducted multiple demos, including the 120-inch Vizio Dolby HDR Reference Series flat screen TV with 4K Ultra HD resolution, high dynamic range, and Ultra Color Spectrum, an exclusive to PowerHouse members. Continuing with the video theme, all LG 2016 OLED models were on display and JVC demonstrated its new DLAX750R 4K projector in a theater setting with a KEF 5.1 Surround Sound system. Panamax drew in the crowds, showing off its highly anticipated VT4315-PRO vertical power conditioner with IP control capabilities.

Attending dealers had the opportunity to win a list of 10 prizes, including Yankees tickets, a Core Brands bundle, a 55-inch LG OLED TV, and a Yamaha MusicCast system. Throughout the show, dealers were also able to experience the Yamaha MusicCast Wireless Multi-room music system and place preorders for its upcoming WXA-50DS amplifier and WXC-50DS preamplifier, due to ship later this month.

“This year’s show had a great vendor assortment, and provided plenty of useful information. I am very impressed; Ultimate Integration puts on a better show year after year,” said Scott Ashbaugh, director of sales, Core Brands. Dan Abramson, regional sales manager with Core Brands agreed: “It’s rare to see that many tier-one dealers at one event.”

Ultimate Integration added a number of new lines in 2016 including KEF, MSE Audio, Xantech, Séura, Sunfire, and Vanguard Dynamics, and just announced that it will be adding even more lines this year. With products from Apple, Clare Controls, Legrand Lighting Controls, and Ring, Ultimate Integration dealers will have more product options, as well. And as inventory continues to grow at Ultimate Integration, so does the staff. The company announced several new personnel, including director of new business George Christianis, an AV veteran previously employed by Audio Associates.

“The BBQ Bash and Tradeshow is a great opportunity for us to lift the curtain on what is new and upcoming at Ultimate Integration,” said Alan Malowitz, Ultimate Integration director of sales. “We are adding some very exciting new lines over the second half of 2016 and have brought on new employees to support our growth.”

“Our main goal at Ultimate Integration is to continue to be a true business partner with our dealers,” said Patrick Berna, COO, Ultimate Integration. “We are pleased to host our annual BBQ Bash and Tradeshow as a reminder that their business is important to us and to help them gain further product knowledge and face-time with vendors.”
