URC and Autonomic have announced a new integration that unites Autonomic’s Mirage Media Servers and newly announced Streaming Amplifiers with URC’s Total Control platform.

Autonomic’s Media Server portfolio includes the MMS-1e, M3, and M5 pro music servers, streaming amplifiers MA4 and MA6, and a number previous generation servers that continue to be supported in URC. Autonomic provides solutions that offer up to five independent audio outputs in a single chassis, all capable of delivering local and internet-based content with Autonomic’s signature TuneBridge functionality. With the new URC integration, each output maps directly into the Total Control environment, making multi-room audio setup and management easier and more reliable.

This integration delivers access to all major streaming services, local libraries, and high-resolution audio formats directly within Total Control. Dealers can program robust one-way commands for standard playback and navigation, while end-users benefit from fully interactive two-way control interfaces across URC’s lineup of devices, including handheld remotes, in-wall touch screens, tabletop controllers, and mobile apps.

URC and Autonomic have worked together for more than a decade to bring advanced audio capabilities into integrated control environments. Early collaborations included modules for Mirage Amplifiers such as the M-400, M-800, M-120e, and M-801e. These amplifier drivers allowed up to 32 zones of audio to be managed directly within Total Control, complete with event triggers, status queries, and robust macro support. Recently, these modules have been updated to add Matrix Mode support for the M3 and M5 Pro, as well as native control of the new MA4 and MA6 streaming amplifiers.

The Mirage Media Server modules built on this foundation provide access to streaming services, local music libraries, and multi-zone distribution across URC Accelerator operating system environments. Over the years, both companies have continued to release updated modules to ensure compatibility with new URC system versions, enhanced graphics, and more responsive performance.
