URC has announced it will offer training on both the Complete Control Product (CCP) line and the Total Control whole-house line at CEDIA EXPO 2012, as well as a full hands-on programming event with prizes on Thursday, September 6.
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday during EXPO each offer four courses. Wednesday, September 5, will be a unique day of URC training at CEDIA EXPO, with a comprehensive focus on getting attendees up to speed on URC’s Total Control whole-house system.
“While the four courses provided on Wednesday at CEDIA EXPO may be taken individually, the day was specially designed to take dealers step-by-step from start to finish through the four Total Control classes, providing one comprehensive set of classes for full certification on the Total Control system in one day,” said Mitchell Klein, director of business development at URC.
Total Control is not sold through distribution; however, all CEDIA Total Control sessions are open to URC direct dealers or dealers intending to apply to be a direct Total Control dealer with URC.
Thursday is also a highlight, with a full hands-on programming event with prizes. This event is open to graduates who have successfully completed the full day of Total Control training on Wednesday at CEDIA EXPO. URC will have 18 racks on display, and every attendee will have the opportunity to program a Total Control system, download to it and gain close critiquing from the URC technical and training staff. Plus, every attendee gets a chance to “spin and win” on the URC prize wheel.
