URC Offers Tabletop Sales Tool

URC has launched an interactive tabletop display sales tool for dealers to exhibit its KP-4000 network keypad and two of any URC wand-style remote controls. The display can either sit on a tabletop or mount to a slat-wall shelving system.

The tabletop display helps dealers exhibit URC’s remote controls and in-wall touch panel.

According to URC, dealers requested this sales tool to help show clients how certain products worked, before placing their order.

“Our dealers asked for an effective—and safe—way to display and explain our remote controls and our in-wall touch panel,” Lars Granoe, URC’s vice president of sales, said.

The center platform can display URC’s PSX-2 personal music server, which can hook up to a network and send album artwork to the KP-4000 from any iPod docked in the unit.

“The KP-4000 also can be replaced by a digital picture frame, so the dealer, if he or she chooses, can run a slideshow about the services they offer,” Granoe said.

The display features holes for wire routing and front slots for charger wires, as well as storage and cable management cutouts on the bottom. Retractable security cables attach to the products displayed for safeguarding against any theft.

“Our new display is just one of many ways in which URC works in partnership with its dealers,” Granoe said.
