URC will offer the first live educational webinars for its new Total Control line of products beginning tomorrow.

Three separate and distinct one-hour webinars on Total Control will be held over the next 10 days, with future dates to be determined. Current and prospective dealers can follow URC’s webinar schedule, which also offers classes on the rest of URC’s wide product line, at universalremote.com.

The new Total Control webinars are:

 • Total Control Product Overview (May 3 and May 4 at 8 am and noon each day; May 10 and May 11 at 9 am and 1 pm each day). This class explores the relevance of the Total Control concept for today’s CI market. The class describes not only what these products are, but how they work and interact with each other. It goes unit by unit through the capabilities of each product, and examines how the products can be used in many common scenarios.

• Total Control System Applications (May 3 at 10 am and 2 pm; May 10 at 3 pm; May 11 at 11 am). This class examines the applications that Total Control can enable dealers to provide their clients. It discusses how to create a Total Control system to meet any customer’s needs, whether simple or complex, and details the design and planning process for specifying a Total Control system.

• Introducing Accelerator Software for Total Control (May 4 at 10 am and 2 pm; May 10 at 11 am; May 11 at 3 pm). URC’s new Accelerator software uses shortcuts and default settings to speed Total Control programming. Accelerator lets dealers speed through the programming process, but also allows them to customize settings to fill specific system requirements. This class shows the Accelerator interface and walks through the process of programming a typical system.
