The companys WebPoint 2.0 software was awarded the Manufacturers Excellence Award during EXPO in Denver last week.

Denver, CO–Vantage/Legrand has been awarded with the CEDIA Manufacturers Excellence Award at the CEDIA 2007 Expo in Denver, CO, for its WebPoint 2.0 remote access software. Utilizing a PC, Mac or a Web-enabled handheld device, WebPoint allows the homeowner to access, monitor and schedule his Vantage control systems from anywhere in the world. WebPoint 2.0 has been a highly requested and much anticipated item from both Vantage custom installers and system owners alike.

WebPoint has been developed to work seamlessly with our other software products and therefore provides the ultimate flexibility in remote home control and monitoring to the home owner, said Vantage Marketing VP, Andrew Wale. To have our efforts recognized by CEDIA is very gratifying.

The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) presented the prestigious Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards at its annual banquet on Sept. 8, 2007. The awards are designed to recognize innovative products that most enhance a CEDIA residential electronic systems contractor’s business.

CEDIA presented only five Manufacturers Excellence Awards this year, said Carol Campbell publisher of Custom Retailer Magazine, which sponsors the CEDIA Manufacturers Excellence Awards and presented the trophies at the annual ceremony. This really is a tremendous honor and Vantage should be very pleased to have produced a product that impressed the judging panel and resulted in this coveted recognition.

WebPoint 2.0 is available to purchase from any authorized Vantage dealer.
