CEDIA has hired Judson Laipply, creator and star of the hit “Evolution of Dance” viral video, to deliver the opening and closing keynote presentations at CEDIA’s 2011 Management Conference. Laipply, a motivational speaker and inspirational comedian, will offer attendees tips on adapting in a changing environment.

CEDIA’s Management Conference will be held March 9–12, 2011 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. The annual event will offer a variety of expert-led sessions designed to help electronic systems business owners and managers focus on business strategy while encouraging networking and idea-sharing among peers.

Laipply’s presentations will support the conference theme of helping attendees develop business solutions for a changing industry. His opening keynote, “Life is Change,” will offer thought-provoking ideas to drive home the point that we are in the constant presence of change. His closing presentation, “From Reactive to Proactive,” will help attendees set actionable goals that focus on proactive business strategy.

CEDIA’s Management Conference will also include a keynote from Tim Costello, Chairman and CEO of Builder Homesite Inc. Costello’s presentation, “The New Normal: Strategic Planning in the New Economy,” will help attendees determine how to find opportunities in the new economic landscape. Additional conference offerings will include a panel discussion and group sessions designed to help companies focus on their personnel, business strategy, and execution.

“CEDIA’s annual Management Conference has been offering the best industry-specific solutions for electronic systems businesses for more than a decade now,” said CEDIA CEO Utz Baldwin. “This year’s event will allow business owners to determine the best way forward as the industry continues to evolve.”
