VizionWare Signs Distribution Agreement with Smarthome

Active HDMI and DVI product manufacturer partners with home electronics distributor.

Austin, TX — VizionWare, manufacturer of active HDMI and DVI products, has signed a distribution agreement with Smarthome Inc. to offer VizionWares entire line of digital interconnects and accessories. As part of the agreement, VizionWares complete product line, including its Hi-Wirez Series HDMI interconnects, will be available for purchase through Smarthomes extensive sales catalog and online store.

Among the products offered through Smarthome will be VizionWares entire series of award-winning HDMI interconnects, including the all-new Hi-Wirez 2250 Series Advanced Digital HDMI Interconnects as well as the highly acclaimed Hi-Wirez 1650, 1650LD and 3400 Series.

Available in lengths from 4-25 feet (1-7 meters), the all-new Hi-Wirez 2250 Series is designed specifically for home theater, high definition television and high performance gaming applications. Featuring a compact cable-head design, the Hi-Wirez 2250 Series offers the ultimate single-cable solution for flat panel displays. The Hi-Wirez 2250 Series utilizes VizionWares proprietary Active HDMI technology to meet HDMI 1.3 specifications, including Deep Color up to 10 bits per channel and lossless high-resolution audio.

VizionWares Hi-Wirez 1650 Series, available in lengths up to 98 feet (30 meters), passed both the ATC and SimplayHD Labs testing qualifications and have been granted the prestigious SimplayHD certification of compliance. Sporting a versatile slim-head design with Intelligent Power Management (IPM) technology, the 1650 Series features a light-weight flexible cable for custom installation ease. Its embedded power management technology provides an improved hot plug detector to prevent cable or equipment damage. VizionWares exclusive IPM implementation enhances hot plug detection capabilities and automatically powers off the cable when not in use to conserve energy and prevent damage.
