New Eastern and Western regional sales managers chosen to build national dealer base.

Austin, TX--VizionWare, a Texas-based audio and video digital interconnect manufacturer, announced today two new additions to its sales team. Bill Johnson and Scott Berg have been appointed to the positions of VizionWares Eastern and Western Regional Sales Managers respectively. Both Mr. Johnson and Mr. Berg bring to the table more than 35 years of experience in sales and commercial electronics management combined.

We know their energetic contributions and wealth of experience will take VizionWares sales and brand awareness to the next level. Both have a proven track record in this industry and we are excited to see them make a positive impact at VizionWare.

An industry veteran, Johnson has served for companies such Monster Cable Products, Inc., in Brisbane, California, as well as D-Tools System Integration Software in Concord, California prior to joining the VizionWare team. During his more than 15 years in sales and marketing, Johnson has served in various middle and upper management positions at a host of specialty manufacturing companies, including Acoustic Innovations in Boca Raton, Florida, as well as Premiere Home Theatre Surroundings in Agoura Hills, California, where Johnson was instrumental in making Premiere a leader in home theater seating for the custom home theater industry.

Im excited to join the VizionWare sales team and to help bring this new and innovative technology to the best custom dealers in the Eastern U.S. Johnson said. A strategic plan is already in place to bring this innovative technology to market that will finally provide the missing link that cutting-edge system integrators have needed in order to really make HD over longer distances a viable sales and installation opportunity--an opportunity that previously had been seriously limited by all other previously available passive and/or amplified interconnect solutions themselves. This now makes what was merely a dream of pre-wiring for distributed HDMI over long distances a reality.

With more than 20 years of experience in management, Scott Berg has a proven track record in sales and marketing. Prior to coming aboard at VizionWare, Scott Berg was the director of business development and international sales for MIT Cables in Rocklin, California. There, he established five new rep firms in the U.S. and identified and closed more than 30 new accounts. He also established distribution partners for the company in countries throughout Asia and Europe. Before joining MIT Cables, Berg was the director of sales at TARA Labs in Ashland, Oregon, where he oversaw operations for 11 firms in the U.S. and Canada, 125 retail stores and 60 home theater custom installation locations.
