Walmart will become the latest national retailer to sell Apple’s iPads, which will be available in hundreds of Walmart locations beginning October 15 and expanding to more than 2,300 stores by mid-November, the company announced.
Target began carrying the iPad earlier this month, and Best Buy has offered it since the device’s April launch. The device was introduced in late January at a press event.
Walmart will also sell the iPad on its website, but the retailer will ship it free to a local store for pickup by the consumer.
