WASP Audio is now shipping all three of its 2.1 systems: the LINK-Mount for On-Wall speakers; the LINK-Plate for in room speakers, and the LINK-InWall for in-wall, in-ceiling and outdoor speakers.
WASP has also introduced a Demonstration Kit for its LINK-Family of products. The Family system approach was designed and developed by WASP’s founder and CEO David Tschirpke, a former Custom Integrator and audiophile. WASP Products are only sold and installed through the Custom Integration channel.
“When I was a custom integrator myself I was frustrated with the lack of quality wireless products available,” Tschirpke said. “I decided to put my engineering degree to use and develop a superior solution by teaming up with the best engineers in wireless audio, hi-end amplification, and software. Rather than settling for a “Band-Aid” approach like other manufacturers using inferior technologies and “lo-fi” amplifiers, we spent countless hours developing the LINK-Family of products to set a ‘New Standard’ for Wireless Audio.”
The Demonstration Kit, called LINK-Hybrid, is a 2.1 system consisting of one transmitter and one of each of the LINK-Family receivers. The LINK-Hybrid Demonstration come with a 45 day trial and money back guarantee. The discounted kits are available to Custom Integrators at [email protected]
“The Hybrid demo system will allow Custom Integrators to better understand the LINK-Family and its installation flexibility. It will also make it easier for them to demonstrate how great wireless can sound. Our amplification technology and wireless platform provides superlative performance on any speakers they choose. Once you hear WASP quality for yourself, you will want to use WASP for all your wireless solutions. You may decide not want to run another speaker wire!” said David Nudelman, executive vice president for WASP.
Each 2.1 System uses WASP proprietary Tri-Band Wireless technology. The transmitter by design works in three selectable Uncompressed wireless bands: 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz, or 5.8GHz.
“This allows the Custom Integrator to choose the appropriate wireless band based on existing wireless environment and system application. This also allows for multiple transmitters to be used within the same environment to further enhance system expansion,” said Tschirpke. “Each transmitter accepts selectable Low Level or High Level (speaker level) Inputs via high quality gold plated terminals. Another nice feature is a selectable Subwoofer input. If your source (receiver, pre-amp, whole house audio device, etc…) has a subwoofer output just simply connect to the WASP transmitter. If not, the transmitter will sum your 2 channel (L+R) input and transmit the summed signal to the WASP receivers allowing you to use your subwoofers cross-over. There is also a convenient 3.5mm Stereo Input Jack on the front panel for a quick connection of any portable media device. There is no switching needed just plug it in and the rear panel inputs are automatically shut-off, unplug and the the rear panel jacks are on. As an added bonus this jack creates the sub channel automatically, how clever.”
