WAVE Adds Polk and Atlona to Rewards Programs

With the success of the WAVE Real Rewards program, launched on July 1, in conjunction with its new website, WAVE Electronics has expanded the program to include premium brands Polk and Atlona.

Purchases made from either of the two brands will now qualify for reward points under the program. Dealers can redeem them for a variety of rewards including CEDIA trips, custom installation trailers, AMEX gift cards, or credits to their account.

“WAVE created the rewards program as a way to give our dealers a way to reward themselves for their ongoing purchases and loyalty,” said Mark Fukuda, president and COO of WAVE Electronics. The program adds reward points for purchases from various brands to a virtual account that the dealers can see and track online. At any time throughout the year, the dealer can decide to redeem the points for an eligible reward. It operates similar to a mileage program from many airlines. The customers have complete control over what they earn and how they redeem it.

The program started with several brands that WAVE Electronics sells but has now added Atlona and Polk to the mix as well.

“During our initial conversation, Atlona immediately saw the benefits to being a part of this program,” according to Ainslie Fukuda, vice president of purchasing at WAVE.

Products that qualify for rewards, including the Polk and Atlona brands, will be noted on the WAVE website with a special logo so that dealers can clearly see which items earn reward points. The program was started with MSTR Brand products; including BRKT Brand, CABL Brand, SCRN Brand, LINK Brand, and LITE Brand. The new additions to the program begin earning points starting in September.

Dealers qualify for rewards with as little as $2000 in purchases and the rewards can accumulate to the equivalent of a 9 percent rebate. WAVE anticipates that sales in reward products will immediately increase over competing brands as a result of the program.

“Going into CEDIA 2013, the rewards program and our new rewards partners, Atlona and Polk, will be a big focus for WAVE,” said Fukuda.

All dealers are automatically registered for the program when they are approved as a WAVE dealer. Points can be tracked and redeemed online at wave-electronics.com.
