ZeeVee, manufacturer of ZvPro and ZvBox HD encoding and modulation gear, has hired Frank White, an industry pioneer of RF video distribution solutions and the creator of the ChannelPlus product line
White will serve as director of business development for the company.

His extensive analog RF video background is a perfect addition to our team as we revolutionize the industry by using RF to deliver digital HD over existing coax networks,” ZeeVee Co-founder and CEO Vic Odryna said. “Frank will report to our VP of sales Dave Malin, and is charged with accelerating our growth within the light commercial and residential integration sectors.”
Prior to joining ZeeVee, White was a principal and VP of sales and marketing for Multiplex Technology between 1983-1998. During his 15-year tenure at Multiplex, White helped create the ChannelPlus brand. He was also instrumental in evangelizing and training the industry about designing and implementing quality RF backbones in the residential marketplace. White later moved to AMX as VP of sales and marketing. In his three years at the helm, Frank took this high-end control systems company through a period of rapid growth, bringing it to $100 million in sales. Then in 2000, he formed a consulting practice, called Custom Metrics.
White has been instrumental in the creation, growth, and expansion of CEDIA, serving six years on the board of directors and delivering vision and leadership at a variety of volunteer levels since 1989.

Our initial investments in this dealer base have created an exciting business; integrators are leveraging our products in their pursuit of high quality HD video and digital signage distribution systems,” Malin added. “Given Frank’s experience with both RF-based distribution technology and the integrators in these markets, he was my logical first choice.
