Clare Controls, provider of innovative and simply configured, deployed, and maintained home automation systems and components, has appointed Jeff Zemanek as VP of Sales. In this role, Zemanek will manage Clare’s distribution channels and its growing network of independent sales representatives, handling Clare’s HDMI/HDBaseT media distribution, Class D amplifiers, and IP video surveillance solutions, and its ClareHome automation solution.
Zemanek’s rise through CE-related industries includes nearly 15 years with Lutron Electronics, culminating in a position as North American director of the company’s residential new business development sales unit, where he managed all Residential Systems Provider accounts. Prior to joining Lutron, Zemanek served on CEDIA’s board of directors, was the organization’s 1994-1995 president, and was named to its prestigious Fellows program in 2010, in honor of his substantial contributions to the association’s success. Most recently, he was a founding partner and VP of sales and marketing for G2i, an interactive home services start-up.
