So I’m desperately trying to put the finishing touches on my CEDIA EXPO plans late Friday afternoon (before Labor Day weekend; thanks CEDIA!) when I get an e-mail from SpeakerCraft marketeer Nicole Sander referring to her company’s battle with its “nemesis” Big Control Corp. Hummmm. It definitely caught my eye and convinced me to jump to the link to see what this cryptic message meant:
It has come to our attention that the ever-paranoid group over at our
nemesis Big Control Corp. have blamed us for hacking into their
website. As if we even have time to worry about them! I vote we all go
to their site and bog down their bandwidth to help make sure they
don’t get back up and running any time soon… I’ll try to get our
team to do some redirecting as well to help get the word out! Big
Control will never learn…
