Accell has expanded its AVGrip Pro Locking High Speed HDMI Cable product line to include cable lengths of 5m and 7.5m.
Accell’s line of AVGrip Pro High Speed HDMI Cables feature patented locking HDMI connectors that provide up to 16 lbs. of retention force, enough holding power to ensure that the cable stays in place. The AVGrip Pro cables are 100 percent fully compatible with any HDMI device. When the locking connector is inserted, the built-in lock automatically engages. To release, simply pull back on the cable’s spring loaded connector cover to unlock and remove the cable.
“We received requests from our integrator partners for longer lengths of the AVGrip Pro Locking High Speed HDMI cable,” said Michael Weizer, director of marketing, Accell. “We addressed this demand by engineering a long-length active cable solution capable of supporting High Speed data rates.”
The new AVGrip Pro cable lengths include Ethernet and an Audio Return Channel (HEAC). They feature UL listed and CL3-rated wire, making them ideal for in-wall installation. Integrating RedMere repeater module technology, the High Speed active solution allows the cables to use thin 32AWG wire, providing lightweight handling and easy routing.
Available with an MSRP starting at $69.95 (5m active version), Accell’s AVGrip Pro High Speed HDMI Cables are also available in a passive version, not equipped with a repeater module, in lengths of 1-foot, 1m, 2m and 3m.
