Araknis Networks Launches New Wireless Access Points

Araknis Networks has launched its new, user-friendly Wireless Access Points (WAPs) as an addition to its full lineup of network switches.

Araknis Networks has launched its new, user-friendly Wireless Access Points (WAPs) as an addition to its full lineup of network switches. Araknis is a brand division of the Charlotte-based SnapAV, a manufacturer and exclusive source of more than 1,800 audiovisual solutions for the residential and commercial channels.

Araknis Networks has launched its new, user-friendly Wireless Access Points (WAPs) as an addition to its full lineup of network switches.

“Araknis WAPs were designed specifically to meet our customers’ requests. They wanted a robust and reliable product, and that’s what we’ve brought to the table. They’re a great addition to our line of network switches,” said Ayham Ereksousi, category manager for Araknis Networks.

The company offers two WAPs – a single-band 2.4GHz model, and a dual-band 2.4/5GHz model. Each device boasts PoE and is enabled for OvrC, SnapAV’s cloud-based customer management service. “With OvrC, integrators can keep track of their customers’ information and devices, troubleshoot network issues, and perform firmware updates remotely without having to roll a truck,” said Ereksousi.

The WAPs were built with a focus on aesthetics, with a square-shape and embedded antenna design that allow them to blend in to their surroundings. Their tough plastic frame also helps to prevent signal interference. “These WAPs have the sleek appearance that homeowners want out of a product, plus the installer-friendly features that integrators need,” said Ereksousi. “Araknis is bringing networking to a whole new level.”

Araknis Networks WAPs and network switches are available for sale at snapav.com.
