Bang & Olufsen’s Beosound Premiere soundbar introduces Bang & Olufsen’s new patent-pending Wide Stage Technology. Sculpted from pure aluminium, Beosound Premiere is meticulously crafted in a close collaboration between Bang & Olufsen’s Design team and the experts at Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark. Unlike conventional soundbars, Beosound Premiere is a three-dimensional sculpture that mirrors the three-dimensional sound it produces. The speaker drivers are celebrated rather than concealed.
The seamless aluminium chassis is pearl blasted to create a matte satin finish. Achieving this compact form required precision engineering by aligning extruded aluminium with cut end caps to maintain a slim profile while simultaneously housing ten powerful drivers. One of the most eye-catching features is the upfiring tweeter, placed right in the center of the soundbar, designed to capture the eye like a jewel through turned aluminium. Hidden design details on the upfiring driver include 1925 precisely machined perforations to honor the year Bang & Olufsen was founded, paying tribute to 100 years of craftsmanship without compromise.
Spatial Sound
Beosound Premiere provides ten custom-engineered drivers with a dedicated upfiring driver at its center to add height and dimension. Beosound Premiere features a dedicated array with a custom-designed driver setup that precisely controls sound direction. This enhances clarity in dialog and delivers deep, powerful bass.
Developed by Bang & Olufsen’s in-house experts, the company’s new Wide Stage Technology uses signal processing custom designed for Beosound Premiere to create the illusion of having added external speakers, making the soundstage wider and taller than it is. Through this new technology, all ten drivers of Beosound Premiere work together to deliver a spacious, room-filling soundstage.
Beosound Premiere seamlessly analyzes its surroundings to deliver sound perfected for the space. Whether it’s standalone or the centerpiece of a listener’s system, Beosound Premiere allows for additional Bang & Olufsen speakers to be added through Beolink Surround. A fully integrated Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 surround decoder adapts to the user’s system and supports seamless expansion.
Through the language of light, Beosound Premiere transforms the way listeners engage with sound for intuitive interaction. Ninety responsive LEDs illuminate with an ethereal glow inside the soundbar. As the settings are adjusted, the light follows, creating a connection with the product.
Beosound Premiere is Cradle to Cradle Certified Bronze, meaning it’s made to be updated over time. Beosound Premiere is accompanied by a 5-year warranty when signing up to Beocare.
Introducing Beosound Premiere Haute Edition
To mark this launch, Bang & Olufsen’s Atelier team created a special Haute Edition, limited to just 25 pieces worldwide. This edition accentuates the sculptural qualities of the soundbar with a precision-milled pattern that originates from the signature central slot and radiates outward, wrapping the entire form in flowing grooves that echo the way sound spreads in waves. These grooves catch the light, invite touch, and convey a sense of energy, movement and depth, enhancing the sensory presence of the product and visually telling the story of sound.
The pattern is achieved through an intricate milling process that takes 17 hours to complete, where a spinning blade carves delicate grooves into the raw aluminum, creating a visual echo of its powerful spatial sound capability. As a signature of authenticity and craftsmanship, each piece is individually engraved numbered 1 of 25 and comes with a limited edition Beoremote One in a handmade wooden presentation box. A certificate of authenticity is included.
