BIC America, a longtime designer of high-performance, high-value home audio products, has announced the return of the RtR brand with the new RtR Elite On-Wall Series, a family of passive loudspeakers designed to bring the soundstage and dynamic performance of a traditional component home theater to rooms where floor-standing speakers are impractical and a soundbar is not enough.
Built specifically around modern wall-mounted TVs, the RtR Elite Series includes three On-Wall Towers (OWT), two voice-matched center-channel options, and two dual-angle surround speakers. The system combines internally braced MDF cabinets, high-output driver configurations, and placement-specific acoustic designs with straightforward wall mounting, giving homeowners and integrators a flexible way to build a true multichannel system without occupying valuable floor space.
At the front of the system are the OWT65, OWT75, and OWT85 On-Wall Towers, sized to visually complement 65-, 75-, and 85-inch-class TVs. Unlike ultra-shallow on-wall designs, the OWT models use comparatively larger, internally braced MDF enclosures with two extra-long-throw 4.5-inch woofers and four passive radiators, increasing cabinet volume and air movement to support greater dynamic output and bass extension.
The towers also feature tapered cabinets that angle their output downward toward the listening position rather than projecting above seated listeners when installed alongside higher-mounted TVs. All three models handle up to 100 watts RMS and use gold-plated binding posts supporting speaker wire up to 14-gauge.
For installations requiring a dedicated center channel, the series includes the OWCLR35B, designed for placement below the television, and the OWCLR33A, which can be mounted above the display with three downward-angle positions to direct dialog toward listeners. Both are voice-matched to the OWTs and can be mounted vertically for use as left/right speakers in room configurations where the standard OWT placement is not ideal.
Completing the system are the S2040 and S3070 surrounds, designed for front-height, side-wall or rear-wall placement in either vertical or horizontal orientations.
The S2040 provides 20- and 40-degree mounting options, allowing installers to select an angle based on the speaker’s height and distance from the seating area. The S3070 takes a different approach, incorporating separate driver sets on precisely angled 30- and 70-degree baffles. The design broadens on-axis coverage for listeners seated both near and farther from the speaker, including challenging positions close to side or rear walls.
All RtR Elite models are passive loudspeakers that require an AV receiver or amplifier and are designed to be paired with a subwoofer with an 80 Hz-or-higher crossover. They work together as a voice-matched family for 5.1, 7.1, and immersive home theater configurations, and mounting templates, heavy-duty keyhole mounts, and installation hardware are included to simplify setup.
The RtR Elite Series is expected to begin shipping September 1, 2026, through BIC America’s distributor network and Amazon.
