Devialet has announced the launch of its Phantom Ultimate speakers. A continuing evolution of the original Phantom speaker launched in 2015, the Phantom Ultimate collection includes two models — the flagship 108 dB ($3800) and the compact 98 dB ($1900) in three distinctive finishes.
The 108 dB and 98 dB models are available in two sophisticated finishes: Deep Forest, featuring rich dark green tones with black chrome detailing, and Light Pearl, an elegant ultra-matte off-white. The exclusive Opéra de Paris edition features the same elegant forms elevated with hand-applied 22-karat gold detailing.
At the heart of the Phantom Ultimate collection lie the revolutionary proprietary technologies that have made Devialet synonymous with acoustic excellence worldwide.
- ADH New Gen (Analog Digital Hybrid): A cornerstone of Devialet’s legacy, the latest generation of ADH technology combines the linearity and finesse of analog Class A amplification with the power and compactness of digital Class D. The improvement of the control algorithm between analog and digital makes it possible to achieve extremely fine and precise high frequencies, reaching up to 35 kHz on the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB. Phantom Ultimate 108 dB ($3800)
Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB introduces a new generation of loudspeakers protected by four newly registered patents engineered to deliver sound with extreme precision, free from distortion, saturation, or background noise.
The bass drivers offer an optimized acoustic response with smoother, more controlled low frequencies. The midrange driver has been specifically designed to eliminate unwanted resonance. As for the tweeter, it features a brand-new design that balances mechanical robustness with refined high-frequency reproduction.
Thanks to optimized driver performance and 32-bit/96 kHz audio processing, Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB delivers a high-resolution sound experience across an extended frequency range — from 14 Hz to 35 kHz (±6 dB) for a total amplification power of 1100 watts.
The user interface now includes four touch controls on the top of the speaker. Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB delivers high-fidelity sound reproduction in an ultra-compact form. Its size-to-performance ratio enables a wide frequency response, ranging from 18 Hz to 25 kHz (±6 dB).
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB features a total amplification power of 400 watts and integrates an optimized signal processing chain (32-bit/96 kHz), ensuring ultra-precise playback. A unique co-spherical wideband driver design significantly expands the soundstage while faithfully reproducing every note.
Both models are presented in customizable configurations — solo, stereo, or multi-room (via AirPlay, Google Cast, and Roon Ready).
Phantom Ultimate Opera de Paris
Continuing its longstanding partnership established in 2017 with the Opéra national de Paris, the exclusive Devialet Phantom Ultimate | Opéra de Paris editions feature 22-carat gold hand-applied by master gilders at Ateliers Gohard, the historic Parisian workshop responsible for restoring the Palais Garnier.
