Forte Distribution has announced that its first passive speaker, the Eversolo SE100, is now available to purchase in the U.S. The SE100 (SRP: $499) is a premium, passive two-way bookshelf speaker designed for use with any number of high-performance products, especially Eversolo’s Play Music Streaming Amplifier, a compact all-in-one streaming amplifier that features a high-fidelity DAC, Class D power output, and integrated touchscreen interface. Play is available in two options: with and without a CD transport.
Featuring a design built around a two-way acoustic architecture, the SE100 delivers accuracy and detail to fill a room, yet its diminutive footprint and modern design aesthetic allow it to fit nearly anywhere, from speaker stands to desktops and Ikea KALLAX shelving units.
The SE100 combines a dedicated woofer with a 25mm premium silk-dome tweeter and a high-flux neodymium motor to produce smooth, transparent highs and rich tonal depth that reveal musical detail across genres. A bespoke paper-based 5.25-inch paper-pulp cone helps produce sound that renders vocals and instrumentation with lifelike performance. In addition, a holographic soundstage is achieved through a custom-engineered layout of the tweeter and woofer that are paired with precise two-way phase calibration.
