FiiO has launched the SP5 active speaker system, which is designed for desktop and nearfield listening precision. Engineered from the ground up with a dual power supply system, each SP5 speaker is powered by its own dedicated 120-watt supply. This independent configuration ensures consistent power delivery, minimized cross-channel interference, and a level of sonic stability typically reserved for component systems.

At the heart of the SP5 is an independent 4-channel amplifier design, delivering 60 watts + 20 watts per speaker. This allows for discrete amplification of the 5.25-inch Rohacell-cone bass driver and the 1-inch composite silk dome tweeter, delivering refined, full-range performance with musical detail. The Rohacell driver — a material shared with the many high-end speakers — ensures ultra-low distortion and tight, responsive lows. Paired with a rear cavity-enhanced tweeter featuring an internal magnet structure, the SP5 delivers smooth highs without losing any information.
The 3-band bass and treble adjustment system offers dual-frequency bass extension options for precise tailoring to your environment and tastes. Whether on a mixing desk, a desktop workstation, or a dedicated listening space, the SP5 can be tuned accordingly.
With AUX, RCA, XLR, and USB Type-C inputs, the SP5 welcomes analog and digital sources alike and all are supported by independent volume memory, so each input retains its own customized level settings. A low-noise, high-precision encoder enables stepless, electronic volume adjustment via the front-mounted control knob, ensuring zero loss of resolution across the spectrum.
The SP5 offers full support for high-definition Bluetooth codecs, including LDAC and aptX Adaptive, enabling lossless wireless streaming with minimal latency. Take command remotely with the FiiO Control App (iOS/Android), which offers 10-band PEQ tuning and complete speaker configuration from a phone, tablet, or laptop.
With built-in trigger input support, the SP5 powers up in perfect sync with your gear, ideal for integration with home studio setups. A custom IR remote, RGB LED indicators (colors denote input), and a tactile volume knob offer instant control.
Finally, the SP5 includes two Furukawa oxygen-free copper power cables, ensuring clean power delivery and maximum electrical conductivity.
The SP5 is available in September 2025 for a price of $749/£709.
