Ideon Audio Debuts New Reference DAC

The Axiom features an advanced, parallel DAC architecture.

2WA LLC, a marketing and distribution partner for independent audio companies, is introducing a new reference digital-to-analog converter to the North American market. Developed and manufactured by Ideon Audio, the new Axiom DAC is the embodiment of Ideon Audio’s accumulated knowledge in digital design, power architecture, precision engineering, and signal integrity. Every element of the system has been developed with attention to detail, from conversion architecture to power supply topology and signal synchronization.

Ideon Audio Axiom DAC

At the heart of the Axiom lies a parallel DAC architecture built around a 32-channel hybrid conversion engine operating in a fully differential configuration. This design combines multiple conversion technologies with proprietary firmware developed in-house by Ideon Audio, enabling complete optimization of the digital-to-analog conversion process.

The architecture achieves ultra-low noise and distortion while delivering reference-grade digital conversion with exceptional dynamic range, low jitter, and linearity. By distributing the conversion process across multiple channels in a precisely controlled parallel topology, the system improves signal stability and reduces distortion at every stage.

The digital architecture is implemented in a dual-mono configuration with a fully balanced, ultra-low-noise topology engineered entirely from the ground up. Exclusive to Ideon Audio, this proprietary “Spartan” parallel architecture delivers extraordinary linearity and dynamic headroom.

Ideon’s end-to-end architecture for USB audio transmission governs the entire signal path, regenerating, re-timing, and isolating each stage with precision.
