Forte Distribution has announced that the new Luxsin Audio X9 headphone DAC/amplifier will soon be available in the U.S.

The X9 (SRP: $1099) features 6000 mW/16-ohm output, AK4499EX DAC chip, and HP-EQ technology that supports over 2500 headphone models.
“As a sister brand of Eversolo, Luxsin Audio boasts a high-end pedigree that is evident every time the X9 is powered up,” says Roger Fortier, VP and director of sales, Forte Distribution, U.S. distributor of Luxsin, Evesolo, and Zidoo products. “The X9 was created by and for audiophiles who place as great an emphasis on personal audio as they do traditional 2-channel listening.”
The Luxsin Audio X9 features a resistor ladder (R2R) volume control that precisely and accurately manages output on the 4-watt headphone amplifier. A bypassable DSP offers cross feed options and EQ correction for 2500+ headphone models.

Unique to the Luxsin X9 is a Headphone Impedance Self-Detection System (HISDS) that automatically detects headphone impedance and recommends the optimal output level. When using bypass detection technology, it measures impedance with no effect on sonic output.
