Monitor Audio Adds High Gloss White of Studio 89 Speakers

Monitor Audio has introduced a new High-Gloss White addition to its Studio 89 speakers, which were originally introduced in 2024 in High-Gloss Black. The contemporary High-Gloss White finish with the signature gold-anodized bass drivers and hexagonal transducer grille design accentuates its bold form further.

RDT III (Rigid Diaphragm Technology III) Drivers: The twin bass-mid driver cones are made up of three ultra-thin layers to ensure rigidity and strength. A Nomex honeycombed core is sandwiched between an ultra-thin and ultra-rigid C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminum Magnesium) layer and a twin-layer of uni-directional Carbon Fiber, which are layered and bonded at 90 degrees to each other for even greater strength. The RDT III cone works like a piston, and, when coupled to the latest optimized and contoured cone surround and black spider, it allows the Studio 89 drivers to boast the lowest distortion of any speaker in Monitor Audio’s history.
MTM (Mid-Tweeter-Mid) Driver Configuration: The Studio 89 positions the latest MPD (Micro-Pleated Diaphragm) III high-frequency transducer between twin RDT III 4 1/4-inch bass-mid drivers, while a highly optimized third-order crossover ensures the frequency response across each drive unit for total symmetry and controlled sound dispersion.
Bespoke Stand: To ensure optimum rigidity and a perfect listening experience, bespoke metals have been used for each section of the dedicated Studio 89 Stand. The top plate is laser-cut steel, the pole is extruded aluminum, and the base is die-cast aluminum. The four adjustable feet are supplied with both chrome-plated spikes for carpeted floors and domed rubber feet for hard floors, ensuring that the stands are anchored perfectly in all situations.
Uniquely Finished: Studio 89 is now available in two finishes. Originally launched in High-Gloss Black, it is now reimagined in High-Gloss White, retaining the same gold-anodized drive units. Additionally, the optional Studio 89 Stand is now available in a matching High-Gloss White.
