Solutions from URC and Just Add Power have been installed at the Recovery Sports Grill locations throughout the U.S. To provide patrons with immersive, branded entertainment within the company’s dining establishments, integrator Allstar Systems relied on URC’s audio distribution and control solutions integrated with Just Add Power’s AV-over-IP platform to deliver and reliably control audio and video content to 31 displays throughout the establishments.

URC brings it suite of audio, automation, and control systems to the table, from the company’s Accelerator operating system to TC Flex, which offers a blank programming canvas to create customized, unique spaces. Its hardware solutions deliver functionality via touchscreen controllers, processors, and its new High-Definition (HDA) audio products.

Allstar Systems used URC’s Total Control module with Just Add Power transmitters and receivers and AMP – VLAN software for a unified programming and control experience. The AV-over-IP system uses a modular approach to video distribution, pairing every screen with a simple compact receiver that mounts onto the back of the display and every source with a transmitter. The system offers ultra-low latency from source to screen and instant switching between any resolution HDMI source as well as support for uncompressed lossless multichannel audio formats, including Dolby Atmos.
It supports resolutions up to 4K UHD, HDCP 2.2, and power over ethernet. It’s also engineered to provide complete scalability, so expanding the system with an additional screen or source is as simple as adding another receiver or transmitter. What’s more, the integrator leaned on Just Add Power’s AMP – VLAN software since it’s specifically designed for environments like this one where a dedicated AV distribution switch is deployed. This allowed the Allstar to set up both the individual Just Add Power devices and the network switch quickly and effortlessly.
