URC has launched a two-way IP module for Total Control of Pentair’s IntelliTouch Pool and Spa Control System. The module, available now to authorized URC installers via URC’s dealer portal, allows homeowners using any URC Total Control interface to control all Pentair Pool and Spa products that work with Pentair’s IntelliTouch system, including pool pumps, cleaners, heaters, pool lights and water features.
To facilitate the connectivity between the two systems, a Pentair i-Link Home Automation Protocol Interface Adapter is required. Using the URC Accelerator or TC Flex programming software, authorized dealers can also program macros with device events, status queries and set modes (e.g., “Party Mode,” “Romance Mode,” “Sunset Mode,” etc.) for one-button activation of multiple operations from a URC Total Control 2.0 controller.
Authorized U.S. URC Total Control dealers can purchase URC Total Control 2.0 and a host of third-party products that integrate with the Total Control 2.0 system on the URC dealer-only portal at www.urcportal.com.
