TV One’s AVToolbox Division has introduced the new AVT-3420 video scaler that enables scaling of NTSC or PAL interlaced composite, YPbPr analog signals, or the output from an internal cable TV tuner to resolutions as high as 1080p for viewing via any compatible projection system, LCD, or plasma display.

The AVT-3420

The AVT-3420 supports eight resolutions ranging from 1024×768 to 1920×1200 plus 16:10, 16:9, 5:4, and 4:3 aspect ratios making it ideal for viewing standard definition analog cable television programming as well as the analog video outputs from video games such as the Wii, PS-3, and XBOX360 in high resolution. In addition to video derived from the internal cable TV tuner and the composite video inputs, it will also accept YPbPr analog high-definition component video inputs and has stereo external audio inputs plus stereo audio outputs.

The unit is controlled by a multi-function remote controller, includes a special stand that allows it to present a smaller footprint on a table or storage cabinet, and has an AC adapter included.

The AVT-3420 has an MSRP of $159.00.
