BlueDog Data Services to Support Integrator Processes and Profitability

BlueDog Data Services is a new company formed by industry veterans that aims to provide CEDIA and InfoComm channel integrators with process, procedures, and standards

BlueDog Data Services, a new company formed by industry veterans Curt Hayes, Doug Dodd, and Chad Modad of Audio Designs Inc., aims to provide CEDIA and InfoComm channel integrators with process, procedures, and standards necessary to compete, grow, and remain profitable as the market continues to evolve.

At the core of its services, BlueDog will offer complete and accurate data for popular proposal software applications. Currently, these software applications rely on an ad-hoc group of manufacturers, admin staff, sales people, project managers, and system designers creating thousands of individual databases with no form of communication or coordination. BlueDog’s data is based on a field-tested and proven model that greatly increases efficiency and profitability for these integrators, according to the company.

“We have seen how excited integrators get about their new proposal systems, then are unable to fully utilize those tools because of inaccurate, incomplete, and inconsistent data,” said Curt Hayes, chief executive officer at BlueDog Data Services. “BlueDog Data Services can bring a secure, cloud-based database to those dealers that includes defined and consistent product categories and installation times for all of their manufacturers’ products, allowing dealers to quickly and easily provide accurate proposals for their prospective customers.”

Company president Doug Dodd said, “Our master database is continuously updated and used by integrators across several channels. Our network of data even includes emerging technologies such IoT endpoint hardware and software. Providing accurate proposals is a large part of making an integration firm profitable, yet our services will go beyond that by providing additional procedures and tools, like our BlueDog Qualifier for Residential AV iPad app, to help integrators manage time and costs further.”
