The entry level CT-3 music servers support three streams of music in different rooms at the same time. Local music collections residing on Windows, iTunes, or networked music from Universal Plug and Play/Digital Living Network Alliance (uPnP/DLNA) compatible media servers can be played. CasaTunes is controlled using native CasaTunes Apps for iOS, Android, and Blackberry smartphones and tablets, as well as a web browser or keypad.
CasaTunes servers and streamers are powered by CasaTunes Air an intelligent multi-room switch for Apple AirPlay that works with existing systems to combine wired and wireless solutions into one multi-room audio experience throughout the home. CasaTunes Air enables access to an unlimited number of music services and music apps available from the Apple App Store, including iTunes Radio, iHeartRadio, NPR Music, Rhapsody, Rdio, Songza, and others. Homeowners can listen to a wide variety of talk and music services from over 100,000 radio stations worldwide. These include the BBC, CBC, JAZZRADIO.com, SHOUTcast, SKY.FM, SomaFM, and TuneIn, as well as premium service music including Grooveshark, last.fm, MOG, SiriusXM, Slacker, Spotify and Pandora.
A compact system for smaller homes and retrofits, the CT-3 line offers both wired and wireless outputs in the same box, plus 320GB of storage for access to favorite music by anyone, anywhere, at anytime.
The CT-3 entry-level multi-room music solution provides three streams of music to three wired rooms and five wireless rooms through any AirPlay speaker or device. The CT-2i features one external input, two wired outputs and five wireless outputs where the CT-3 features three wired outputs and five wireless outputs. The CT-3S is a music streamer designed to work with Russound, Audio Authority, Channel Vision, NuVo and SpeakerCraft distributed audio systems.
