SSF bulk fiber is made with a patented glass-encapsulated-by-polymer process that strengthens the optical strand while simultaneously protecting the center core. This provides superior performance without the weight and bulk of micro-armored or ruggedized products, and SSF multistrand trunks are up to 50% slimmer for high-density applications — all without sacrificing durability.
Cleerline SSF bulk fiber is made in the USA and is also available in factory-terminated custom configurations.
SSF fiber patch cables are available in 1.2mm, 1.6mm, and 2.0mm constructions with factory-terminated LC, SC, ST, and MTP/MPO connectors.
