Emotiva Audio Corporation is now shipping a complete, versatile lineup of high performance speaker and subwoofer solutions in its X-Ref series.

The XRT-6.2 Tower produces low frequency extension down to 35 Hz.
X-Ref Towers: The complete X-Ref lineup starts with two vented tower models designed for L-R home theater use and 2-channel applications. The XRT-6.2 Tower is full-range, producing low frequency extension down to 35 Hz. Dual 6.5-inch cast frame long throw woofers with proprietary cone materials are complemented by a low resonance 1-inch silk dome tweeter and guided by an asymmetrical LC crossover for seamless coherence tower. The XRT 5.2 is a more compact version of the same configuration with dual 5.25-inch drivers and the identical tweeter and crossover.
X-Ref Subwoofers: A high-efficiency 600-watt amplifier gives the X-Ref 12 significant power reserves, and a proprietary 12-inch para-aramid blended fiber cone converts massive power inputs into clean, distortion-free extended bass down to 20 Hz. The smaller X-Ref 10 features similarly clean performance down to 25 Hz in a 10-inch configuration, with 300 watts of amplification.
X-Ref Center/LCR/Surrounds: To extend the L-R X-Ref tower models into multichannel systems, or to create more compact systems without the towers, Emotiva offers two new speakers for bookshelf, stand or center channel applications. The XRC-6.2 is a compact loudspeaker system optimized for use as a center channel or LCR monitor, and features dual 6.5-inch woofers flanking the X-Ref 1-inch silk dome tweeter. The more compact XRC-5.2 utilizes 5.25-inch woofers in a similar configuration. Both models have been carefully voice matched for integration with all X-Ref towers and monitors. The Emotiva surround experience becomes complete with the XRS-4.1, which has been designed for use as a wall mounted side or back surround. The XRS-4.1’s dipole radiation pattern produces a lush and expansive soundfield with excellent low frequency weight.
X-Ref Mini Monitors: Completing the new X-Ref lineup are two mini monitors that can serve as accurate, expansive solutions for desktop audio, personal studios and smaller listening spaces. Designed for use in high quality music and home theater systems, the XRM-6.1 is a compact full range monitor featuring the X-Ref 6.5 inch woofer and 1-inch silk dome tweeter in a vented alignment. The more diminutive XRM-4.1 fits perfectly into small listening areas, while still delivering Emotiva-level sonics through its 4-inch woofer and high performance silk dome tweeter.
