EZVIZ has hired 20-year consumer technology veteran Rod St. Michel as its new senior director of consumer sales. St. Michel will work to develop EZVIZ's key relationships with customers and partners in North America, focusing on its storefront and online retail presence.
Prior to joining the EZVIZ team, St. Michel served as head of consumer sales at Sling Media, a division of Echostar Corporation. There, he increased distribution by more than 4,000 outlets. Before joining Sling Media, he was vice president of sales at D-Link, where he rebuilt the consumer sales organization and successfully launched an IP camera lineup that garnered 40 percent of consumer share in less than two years.
St. Michel's retail background began with Hewlett-Packard and progressed with stops at Netgear, Linksys, and Sonos, all of which included major product launches in what has now become the connected home category.
