To provide smart home technology in the Del Rio Ranch community of Avondale, AZ, Garrett-Walker Homes has turned to Clare Controls to install a range of products in 130 homes as part of its standard base package.
Clare will add a hub to each home that enables control of heating and cooling systems, as well as the potential to add on other capabilities such as lighting, security, and home entertainment.

With Clare Controls, homeowners can scale their smart home systems based on their lifestyle and needs. In addition to the standard smart home package, the systems can be upgraded to add an extra layer of comfort and convenience. Offerings include common area and master suite lighting, enhanced safety and security, and streaming music packages.

The systems allow homeowners to control aspects of their home locally or remotely, with Android and iOS compatible devices. Del Rio Ranch residents will be able manage the heating and cooling functions for their thermostats, as well as any other products they have connected to the Clare hub. Additionally, the myClareHome Premium app enables homeowners to create their own scenes, schedules, and notifications. The app also sends alerts about changes within their home.
