For the new division, called professional and component audio solutions, Standley will oversee channel-management strategy, sales, product development and marketing for the Klipsch and Jamo brands. Standley joined Klipsch in 2012 and led the sales, product development and marketing initiatives of the company’s cinema and commercial speaker businesses on a global basis. Before coming to Klipsch, he held executive and management positions at Vann’s as COO and sales and marketing director. He was also responsible for Vann’s custom integration team. He has more than 24 years of consumer electronics sales and management experience. “His in-depth knowledge of both the challenges and opportunities facing our company and industry will serve the markets well as he leads our strategic solution efforts across all platforms,” said Paul Jacobs, Klipsch Group president/CEO. The move follows a change last year in which the company added independent rep firms to work alongside internal sales reps.
