The introduction of Legrand’s new speakers also offers a glimpse into the company’s potential for cross-brand development between its different product lines.

According to Werder, offering customers a rich audio experience by providing speakers that accentuate the exceptional performance quality the NuVo Player Portfolio has become known for, as well as complementing the system’s rich, contemporary aesthetics, illustrates the unique value Legrand brings through truly superior solutions. “Regardless of how they are used, these speakers look and sound fantastic when used as a match-up product or as speakers for any other system.”
Each Legrand Contemporary speaker (model # MS65265) combines a 5.25” woofer with ahalf-inch soft dome tweeter in a sleek, high gloss black finish. Each also incorporates an acoustic isolation pad to deliver rich, clear sound, as well as provide surface placement protection and stability.
The new speakers are compact for the performance they deliver, measuring 11” high x 8.5” deep x 7.5” wide, and weighing 2.5 lbs. each. Each is rated to handle 50 Watt RMS, and offers a frequency response of 50 Hz – 20 KHz, +/- 3dB. Each pair carries an MSRP of $275 and is available now through any authorized reseller of Legrand’s On-Q product line.
