Nice Group North America has introduced the Din Module Building Management Interface (DMBM) module. This module interfaces with Nice interior shade motors via Control4 systems. This driver automatically imports Nice shades and groups into Control4. Once imported, the DMBM provides instant up, down, stop, and set level control and feedback from any Control4 user interface, including the on-screen navigator, mobile, tablet, touchscreens, keypads, and more.
The DMBM makes Nice an open system, compatible with protocols most widely used in the building automation sector. It can manage the entire automation system through a browser from a PC or tablet connected through LAN or Wi-Fi using the Nice Configuration Tool or MyNice World app.
The module can be used to connect to 50 motors in the Era Inn Smart series and configure parameters such as limit switches, speed, maneuver duration, acceleration, deceleration, and intermediate positions.
The Nice Configuration Tool allows all the modules in the control system to be managed and programmed. It can configure the outputs and automation functions in the system, rapidly and at any distance.
