Lutron Electronics’ re-designed RadioRA dimmer features screw terminals and push-in connections designed to decrease the space needed for additional wiring and wiring nuts; a shallow back cover design; a “no fins” design, allowing for easier multi-gang installation; an easier-to-access Front Accessible Service Switch (FASS), or air gap, which opens and closes the circuit; and an asymmetric fade rate, which provides a quick fade to on (0.75 seconds) and a slow fade-to-off (three seconds). The new dimmer also features color change kits, which allow for a quick and easy dimmer color change without replacing the dimmer or reprogramming the RadioRA system.
