Lutron Electronics is shipping the RadioRA 2 plug-in appliance module for control of standby power, and has released the newest version of the system’s design and programming utility. The utility has been enhanced with several features to maximize a home’s energy efficiency.

The RadioRA 2 design and programming utility, version 4.0, is available to qualified RadioRA 2 installers. It can be downloaded free of charge at resi.lutron.com/radiora2.

Introduced in 2009, Lutron’s RadioRA 2 total light control system is scalable to 200 devices, programs quickly using a PC utility, integrates with popular home automation systems — including Lutron shade and drapery systems — and includes many energy-saving features. The system utilizes Lutron’s Clear Connect wireless technology.
