Chatsworth, CA–Miller and Kreisel Sound have released a new solution for receiving five channels of surround sound from a single cabinet.

Unlike speakers that use psychoacoustic trickery to create the illusion of surround only in a narrow “sweet spot,” the MPS-45 disperses sound into the room using five separate speaker elements.
The MPS-45 incorporates individual speakers for the left, center, right, left surround, and right surround channels. The left, center, and right channel speakers are essentially identical to the acclaimed M&K Xenon LCR-25, each using one-inch fabric-dome Neodymium tweeter and a high-output three-inch polypropylene woofer.
Each channel utilizes M&Ks Phase-Focused crossover, and the front channel speakers have individual acoustically isolated sealed enclosures.
Each surround channel is reproduced by a 3.25-inch “full-range” driver mounted on the left and right sides of the cabinet, respectively.
To complete a two-speaker full-bandwidth surround system, the MPS-45 can be used in combination with any M&K Powered Subwoofer. The appropriate model can be determined based on room size and budget.
The MPS-45 is available in a black finish with a choice of black or silver cloth grilles.
