Origin Acoustics, U.S. distributor of iRoom, has released two on-wall surface-mount products, the surDock and surDock mini.
iRoomŒ’s surDock and surDock mini is a non-removeable on-wall surface-mount docking station for the iPad and iPad mini. The iPad is permanently charged through the included power supply for continual on-demand use. surDock and surDock mini are designed to provide an iPad at a designated location to use as a control device for home or office automation systems or to stream music to the audio system.
The surDock installs in about 10-minutes with a single-gang wall box. surDock accommodates all current iPad models, except for the iPad Pro 12.9.
