Powerline Control Systems (PCS) has introduced the WS1DL Wall Switch/Dimmer into its PulseWorx line.

The WS1DL was designed to solve the task of figuring out the right dimmer for the different light sources on the market. Working with LED and CFL lighting, as well as fluorescent, inductive and magnetic LV loads, and the most popular incandescent and halogen lighting, the WS1DL gives homeowners the ability to reliably control all of those sources. It also affords simplicity to the dealer by allowing him or her to carry only one wall switch, as opposed to multiple controls for different light sources.

Available in 600W 1000W, 1500W and 2400W, the WS1DL features advanced dimming circuitry designed for compatibility with most high efficacy light bulbs to alleviate the common issues associated with dimming CFLs and LEDs. This technology provides smoother dimming throughout its range, according to PCS, and features an adjustable minimum dimming level to alleviate drop off and prevent the bulb from flickering.

"This is a product we've already seen quite a demand for in installations," said Scott Klodowski, director of sales and marketing for PCS. "By reducing costs while adding flexibility to a system, this wall switch/dimmer is sure to very useful for installers and homeowners."
