At CEDIA EXPO next week, Savant Systems is introducing a full complement of loudspeaker products designed by Bay Audio and encompassing the in-wall, in-ceiling, and in-wall subwoofer product categories. Savant Sound now enables dealers to offer a complete multi-room audio solution that includes top quality speakers along with control and automation functionality based upon Savant’s recently unveiled SmartAudio controller and matching 16-channel amplifier.

The Savant Sound lineup features the most popular loudspeaker sizes offered at a variety of price points, including four in-wall models, four in-ceiling models, an in-wall subwoofer and related mounting accessories. “We chose to team up with Bay Audio for this initiative based on the quality of their speakers and their stature as a highly reputable vendor within the CEDIA community,” stated Savant CEO Robert Madonna. “We think that offering a robust, competitively priced end-to-end distributed audio solution based on our SmartAudio platform is a powerful tool for residential and commercial applications and brings a decisive competitive advantage to Savant’s dealer network.”
Savant’s SmartAudio multi-room audio and control solution delivers music distribution and stereo preamp processing in up to eight zones, making it equally well suited to residential and commercial markets. SmartAudio delivers the flexibility to play the same content in each zone or unique content in individual zones simultaneously and independently. SmartAudio can be navigated and controlled by an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad utilizing Savant’s TrueControl application.
SmartAudio also can be paired with Savant’s 16-Channel Power Amplifier (AMP-1640) along with the Savant Sound loudspeaker lineup as a complete distributed audio solution.
