SnapAV is now offering two professional-grade component video matrix switchers for installations where multiple video-switching is required such as sports and entertainment bars. The switchers are sold under the company’s Binary brand of media distribution/interconnect products.
“Our dealers, like many, are increasing the amount of commercial installations that they do and SnapAV’s goal is to support them with products like these,“ said Adam Levy, SnapAV marketing VP.
The Component 8×8 Matrix Switch (with analog and digital audio) allows eight A/V sources to be independently switched to eight HDTVs, projectors, and surround-sound receivers. MSRP is set at $2,399.
Also available is the Component 6×4 Matrix Switch (with analog audio) that enables six A/V sources to be independently switched to four HD displays and amplifiers. MSRP is set at $999.
Both models come in a compact rack-mountable chassis (2U and 1U respectively); are 1080p capable and feature flexible control options with RS-232, and IR remote.
