In collaboration with Invisions Technology, Tributaries’ three 4K/UHD HDMI models have been custom designed for specific applications where each length provides optimal operational performance and specifications that exceed HDMI testing by a minimum of 20 percent; Tributaries guarantees performance up to 4K/60.
To achieve this level of performance, every conductor in each cable length was electronically analyzed for its data rate capability with the result balanced against its gauge and flexibility. To maintain optimal performance at Rev 2.0 specifications, UHDS Slim line and UHDP Pro line cables use “Go Active! Technology”—active electronics embedded in the sink-end connector. “Go Active! Technology” electronics are “De-emphasis Equalized” devices that are custom calibrated for each cable gauge and length.
Tributaries UHD cables are made with “Power-Grip” connectors to provide a physical connection that is secure without actually locking. The new, low profile, high-retention connectors provide not only a top-of-connector grip but also side gripping surfaces ensuring a firm connection.
UHDS is a low-profile, ultra-slim cable measuring 3.9mm in diameter. With built-in flexibility, UHDS is useful when dressing wiring in racks where multiple HDMI cables are bundled together. The 0.5 m, 1 m and 1.5 m lengths are passive, while “Go Active! Technology” is used in 2 m, 3 m and 4 m lengths.
The UHDP Pro line provides one set of cables from 0.5 meter to 15 meters. The 0.5 m, 1m, 1.5 m, 2 m, 3 m, 4 m, and 5 m lengths are passive, while “Go Active! Technology” is used in 6 m, 8 m, 10 m, 12 m, and 15 m lengths.
The UHD basic line includes lengths of 0.5 m, 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m, 3 m, and 4 m.
All lengths of UHDS and UHDP will be certified by DPL Labs.
