URC has underscored its ongoing support for RF-based Complete Control (MX-Series) systems by introducing what it says is its most advanced CCP remote to date. The MX-990 is focused on creative customization, allowing programmers flexibility in graphic design and layout. Plus, graphics are stored on the remote and sent to the PC for archival purposes.
TheMX-990 uses 418 MHz narrow-band RF and is fully compatible with URC’s MX-980 remote control.
“It’s exciting to get this to market for our dealers, further serving their needs for fast, profitable installations with the latest in control technology,” said URC director of marketing, Cat Toomey. “Creative dealers will love the ‘Freeform Graphics’ feature that allows full customization. Plus, the MX-990 accepts all MX-980 files, so there’s zero learning curve for programmers.”
The MX-990 features a customizable color 2.4-inch LCD screen and works with all URC 418 MHz RF Base Stations (MRX-350, MRF-260). It includes a rechargeable battery and charging cradle.
The URC “i-series” version with 433MHz RF will be available later in 2016.
