URC’s TRF-ZW2 replaces the TRF-ZW1 Z-Wave Gateway. It features Wi-Fi connectivity complete with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) for easy push-button paring, a smaller form factor, faster processing, and double the total memory.
“[The Z-Wave] is potentially 20 percent faster than its predecessor and packs the very latest Z-Wave chipset into a super-small form factor,” said Cat Toomey, director of marketing at URC. “The new, ultramodern GUI allows end-users to set their own lighting scenes quickly and easily. And end-users have the option of activating their private account to enjoy offsite access to Z-Wave control.”
The TRF-ZW2 and its predecessor both support UI7 graphic user interface.
