ViewSonic has introduced its first 4K UHD projector, the PX727-4K, for an estimated street price of less than $1,500. This addition to the company’s line of digital projectors is part of the new PX Series for home entertainment and high-impact multimedia applications. The ViewSonic PX727-4K delivers 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) resolution at a price point that makes 4K technology accessible to a wider market of home theater enthusiasts.
Available this month, ViewSonic PX727-4K delivers intense color reproduction through XPR technology, which provides an 8.3-million-pixel image on the screen. The PX727-4K is HDR-compatible with open standard HDR, and offers both Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 compatibility and DCI-P3 coverage for a wide color gamut. With an exclusive SuperColor six-segment RGBRGB color wheel, the PX727-4K produces a broad color spectrum, providing bright and deep color saturation.
With 2200 lumens of brightness and a contrast of 12,000:1, the PX727-4K provides razor sharp details and lifelike colors, and together with the built-in 10W speaker, this 4K projector immerses the viewer in a complete visual and audio experience. A 1.2x optical zoom and versatile connectivity options, including HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2, HDMI 1.4/HDCP1.4, VGA In/Out, USB 2.0, Audio In/Out, RS232 and a 12V trigger, ensures that set-up of the PX727-4K is trouble-free. This projector features an energy-saving SuperEco function that reduces power consumption and extends the lamp life to up to 15,000 hours*.
